Methodology

The page uses the campaign's Google Keyword Planner search data and Eurostat passenger-car inputs, with rankings presented as indicators of online demand.

Search data

Relevant keywords related to car part replacements and repair needs were gathered from Google Keyword Planner for June 2024 to May 2025.

Country comparison

Raw search volumes were aggregated by country, then normalised by registered passenger cars so smaller and larger markets can be compared fairly.

Brand analysis

Brand-specific queries were grouped to identify the manufacturers with the strongest search demand for parts across Europe and in each country.

Important: search demand is not a direct measure of breakdowns, mechanical failure or vehicle reliability. It reflects online interest in car parts and repair-related information.

Before buying a used part, start with compatibility: match the part number, vehicle model, year and engine details rather than relying on appearance alone. Then check seller photos for corrosion, cracks, broken mounts or uneven wear. A quality used part should solve the problem without creating a new one, and regular maintenance will always help parts last longer.
